SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN AGES 3-6
Are you looking for ways to increase your child’s awareness of the natural world? Then join us for A Chest Full of Stories with Miss Karen at Tyler! Exposing children to the wonders of nature has been shown to spark creativity and imagination, so we’d love to help families encourage a lifetime of learning about the world in which we live.
Come take a walk to Imagination Station and see what flowers are blooming. We will be reading The Honeybee by Kirsten Hall. We will learn how bees collect pollen and turn it into something extra sweet! We will taste honey and make a bee craft. After the story, we will take a short walk to Tyler’s Pollinator Preserve to see if we can find busy bees collecting pollen!
This program is for children ages 3-6 with one supervising adult. Check-in at the Visitor Center first, and then we will enjoy a short walk to an area that sparks our imaginations. This is an outdoor activity, so please dress accordingly. In case of rain, the group will meet in a protected area.

NON-MEMBERS: $13 per child, with one free supervising adult (fee includes admission for the day, so feel free to stay as long as you’d like!) Additional accompanying non-member adults and non-participating children must pay admission.
