SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN AGES 3-6
Are you looking for ways to increase your child’s awareness of the natural world? Then join us for A Chest Full of Stories with Miss Karen, held monthly at Tyler! Exposing children to the wonders of nature has been shown to spark creativity and imagination, so we’d love to help families encourage a lifetime of learning about the world in which we live.
Spring is only five days away! Join us for a walk to the Garden Schoolhouse as we look for signs of spring. We will be reading Spring is Here: A Bear and Mole Story by Will Hillenbrand. Spring is in the air, and Mole can smell it! He tries to wake his friend Bear — is he able to wake him to see if spring is here? Come and find out! We will make a spring craft and play a game.
This program is for children ages 3-6 with one supervising adult. Check in at the Visitor Center first, and then we will enjoy a short walk to the Garden Schoolhouse. This program will be held indoors from November through March. However, we may be outside for part of the program on mild winter days, so please dress accordingly.
