FOR ALL AGES

Meet Tyler docent and Pennsylvania Master Naturalist in training Dave Charlton for an hour-long guided hike in a hidden corner of Tyler. Tall trees, parasitic plants, and bird songs are there to see and hear. Shaded paths provide relief from the day’s heat, and woodland creatures dart about enjoying the bounty of food the season offers.

About your guide: Dave is a long-time Tyler volunteer and naturalist. He is a founding member of our docent program and has recently completed training in the PA Master Naturalist program.

Check in at the Visitor Center, where you’ll meet your guide. As with any walk on the Tyler trails, sturdy shoes are suggested. Participants should bring water and perhaps a walking stick and bug repellent. PLEASE NOTE: Strollers may not be ideal in the North Woods. We recommend a carrier to bring an infant or young child. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
