The beauty of spring is hard to match, even at Tyler, where there is magic to be found every day of the year. Join us for this members only tour led by Sue Fredrick, not only to view the magnificent flowering collections which began about 60 years ago but also to discover some amazing plants you may not have previously seen. Horse chestnuts, trillium, and jack-in-the-pulpit are easily viewed along with dogwoods, azaleas, and rhododendrons. Sue will show you where to find them and keep you informed of what’s blooming as the season changes quickly throughout May and June. This well-planned landscape of flowering shrubs and trees, the legacy of Tyler’s first Director, Dr. Wister, is not to be missed!
