A live animal encounter!
You don’t have to go to another country or a zoo to see exciting animals; we have them right here in our backyards! In this program, you’ll meet animals from Pennsylvania and learn why they are worthy of some hometown pride. Live animals and taxidermy mounts highlight this exciting hands-on experience. Participants learn what behaviors and adaptations are unique to each species, then touch and see the critters up close.
About the presenter: Briar Bush Nature Center’s mission is to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to explore and protect nature by encouraging curiosity and scientific inquiry.
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Please check in at the Visitor Center upon arrival. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
MEMBERS (sign in for your discount!): Adult: $15 each; Child (ages 3-17): $10 each; Child (ages two and under): FREE
NON-MEMBERS: Adult: $20 each; Child (ages 3-17): $15 each; Child (ages two and under): FREE
GUEST PASS HOLDERS (for non-members only): Adult: $15 each; Child (ages 3-17): $10 each; Child (ages two and under): FREE. Please give your guest pass to the Visitor Center Associate at check-in. Each participant must submit a guest pass.
