Get your blood flowing with a brisk, one-hour walk on Tyler’s hiking trails. Each week we’ll explore a different part of the Arboretum’s winter landscape. The Winter Warm-up Hike is intended as a moderate cardio workout, covering approximately 3 miles/5 kilometers in one hour. We’ll review the trail map and blazing system so you can feel confident exploring on your own. Routes will start in front of the Barn and cover a mix of asphalt, gravel, and natural surfaces. Hikes are not suitable for those with limited mobility. While a description of each hike is posted in advance, we reserve the right to make last-minute changes, including adjustments for weather and trail conditions. Please dress for the weather, and be sure to wear comfortable, all-terrain hiking shoes or boots. Hiking poles and reusable water bottles are encouraged. Please check-in at the Visitor Center, where the group will be gathering at 10:50 am to set off punctually at 11:00 am.
Members: FREE (sign-in for discount); Non-Members: $15 per person (includes admission for the day); GUEST PASS REGISTRANTS: Please give your guest pass to the Visitor Center Associate at check-in.
