Tyler Arboretum’s School Day-Off camps offer outdoor exploration and hands-on nature experiences during school breaks and non-attendance days.

Campers spend their days discovering our 650-acre campus through hiking, games, crafts, and nature play—all led by our experienced educators.

Single-Day Camps; Grades K-2

Enjoy seasonal outdoor fun aligned with local school calendars. Each camp day brings new experiences—from survival skills and outdoor cooking to gardening, crafts, and group games.

Camp Details

Times: 9:00 am-4:00 pm (extended care 8:00 am-5:00 pm available for Spring Break Camp only)
Grades: Kindergarten-2nd grade (3rd-5th grade available for Spring Break Camp only)
Groups: Campers are divided into age-based groups depending on enrollment

Spring Break Camp

FULL WEEK: March 22 – March 26, 2027

Grades K-5th

Enjoy all that spring has to offer in this week-long outdoor day camp! Campers will explore our trails and gardens, practice outdoor skills, play group games, and create nature-based crafts. The day is spent outside, with indoor space available for severe weather.

Days: Monday-Friday. No single-day registrations.
Times: 9:00 am-4:00 pm. Extended care available, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Grades: Kindergarten-5th grade

Before Care: Weekly & Daily

Before Care is available on both a weekly and a daily basis from 8:00 to 9:00 am.

After Care: Weekly & Daily

After Care is available on both a weekly and a daily basis from 4:00 to 5:00 pm.

Before & After Care

Register for extended care after completing camp registrations. All campers are guaranteed a spot in extended care if needed, so it will not fill up.

Available for Spring Break Camp only.

Cancellation & Transfer Policy:

Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to programs@tylerarboretum.org.

Cancellations received 30 days or more before the camp start date will be eligible for a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
Cancellations made between 29 and 15 days before the registered camp start date will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made within 14 days before the registered camp start date will receive a 15% refund.
No refunds will be issued on or after the camp day or the first day of the registered camp week.
Absences or no-shows are not eligible for a refund.

Transfer Policy

Families may request to transfer their registration to a different camp date, subject to availability.

Transfer requests must be submitted in writing via email to programs@tylerarboretum.org no later than five business days before the registered camp start date.
