Connect

“You know me, I think there ought to be a big old tree right there. And let’s give him a friend. Everybody needs a friend.” — Bob Ross

At Tyler, we think of our trees as friends and family. The Painter brothers, in their search for knowledge of nature, planted many trees (and shrubs) to study. Some of these are our native trees, such as Osage orange, while others are from foreign lands like the Ginkgo and the Cedar of Lebanon. Today we continue their work of tree studies, and like them we share our passion with everyone. We hope that this inspires you to walk in the woods, sit underneath the outstretched arms of a giant and plant a tree for the future. Be sure to also check out “What’s in Bloom” as we feature trees in bloom, fruit or color.
