The end of the year brings to mind festive celebrations, gatherings of family and friends, and a spirit of gratitude. Feelings of thanksgiving extend to non-profit organizations, too! This time of year, we’re immensely grateful for all the supporters who help us bring our mission to life.

Here at Tyler, we’re thankful for our members, volunteers, donors, visitors, and community of support, who all help us conserve our historic landscapes and connect people with the natural world. We’re also grateful for the season of giving that helps us close out the year strong and look ahead with confidence. November and December make up the most charitable season of the year, which is a huge benefit to non-profits like Tyler.

Why should you support Tyler with a year end donation? I’d love to give you 650 reasons to donate – one for every acre of the arboretum — but for brevity’s sake, I’ll keep the list short.

  • The holidays are a wonderful time to reflect on the past year and be generous with those causes you care about.
  • Tyler Arboretum relies on our community’s support to operate, and the Annual Fund is a major part of our revenue. We put your donations right to work!
  • Charitable giving often comes with tax benefits, with gifts made by December 31 qualifying for the current tax year.
  • Non-profits like Tyler are planning budgets and programs for next year. Your donation now helps us plan for our impact in 2026.
  • Year end giving boosts financial stability heading into the New Year, helping us start the year strong!
  • The Annual Fund is Tyler’s area of greatest need, allowing us to strategically utilize funding for the biggest impact and flexibly respond to changes throughout the year.

No matter your reason for supporting Tyler, we thank you for your generous support now and throughout the year. We hope you enjoy the holiday season and come for a visit soon.
