Description
This compact form of American Cranberrybush was discovered by Pat Perkins at Bailey Nurseries. Formerly called Compact American Cranberrybush, this hardy shrub has beautiful foliage that offers a slight red edge when new, then turns a deep red in Fall.
A useful shrub if you need a compact hedge or foundation plant. Green leaves turn dark red in fall which is followed by golden stems. Does not flower or fruit at a young age and only lightly thereafter.
Growth habit is more dense and compact than the species. Very hardy, adaptable and easy to grow.
