Description
In summer a profusion of exceptionally large, 9-inch-long flower clusters are showcased against the dark green, deeply lobed, oak-like leaves of this exceptional hydrangea.
Robust blossoms open white, quickly age to deep pink, and remain upright even after heavy rains. The rich green foliage turns a brilliant mahogany-red in fall.
The compact form of ‘Ruby Slippers’ is well suited for small landscapes. It is ideal used in mass plantings, hedges, and mixed borders. This is an introduction from the U.S. National Arboretum.
