Description
This hybrid is a cross between the familiar Japanese pieris and our underused native mountain pieris. It has deep purplish red flower buds that open to 4-6″ white panicles.
It has a very dense, compact habit with shiny, dark green leaves.
Pieris prefer a moist, well-drained, acid soil and protection from the hot afternoon sun.
