Welcome Back, Gnomes!

Have you missed the Tyler Arboretum Gnomes? Well, they are back from vacation, and their new scavenger hunt is ready for you at the Visitor Center. Pick one up, and let the fun begin!

If you are unfamiliar with the gnomes, they have been a big part of why my grandsons LOVE Tyler. They always want to find the gnomes.

These four large silly gnomes have been a part of the arboretum for several years. Seasonally, they get a new wardrobe and a new home to keep the hunt fresh. It is a fun way to discover new spots in the garden and allow the children to spot changes in nature in the different seasons.

When I heard that the gnomes may have retired, I had to get them back out there. Developing a theme and getting them ready for their new locations has been such fun.

So, pick up a scavenger hunt sheet at the Visitor Center and start looking! Even the big kids (adults) will enjoy it.

Happy Hunting!
