FOR ALL AGES
Explore Tyler’s bluebird boxes!
For more than fifty years, volunteers at Tyler Arboretum have been monitoring the nesting activities of the Eastern Bluebird. Please join us on this family-friendly tour to share this tradition. We will walk the succession field and check on quite a few bluebird boxes. We expect to see bluebirds, active nests of bluebirds and other cavity-nesting birds, eggs, and young nestlings! We will be walking on grassy fields, so bug spray and close-toed shoes are recommended.
Please check in first at the Visitor Center patio window by 1 pm, where you’ll then meet your tour guide.
