Controlled Burn Update: on Tuesday, Tyler Arboretu

Controlled Burn Update: on Tuesday, Tyler Arboretum conducted a successful controlled burn on its serpentine barren called Pink Hill. The contractor was able to use fire as a means to control invasive species spread, to balance the soil chemistry, and to ensure Pink Hill will continue to thrive.

Thank you to Silvix, LLC and our horticulture team for their hard work in preserving this important ecosystem at Tyler!
