Aquilegia canadensis ‘Little Lanterns’

Description

This is a new, compact growing, selection of our native columbine. Instead of the usual height of 2’ tall, ‘Little Lanterns’ grows to only 10” tall. A long blooming species, it produces many brilliant red flowers with a yellow corolla that dangle and sway in the breeze from April thru June.

Since it’s little, it would be cute in a pot or planted along a path or front of garden.
