Cornus kousa ‘Rutpink’ Scarlet Fire®

This highly ornamental dogwood would be a perfect addition to any garden. A wonderful specimen tree, Cornus kousa ‘Rutpink’ is the most pink, heaviest flowering Kousa dogwood currently on the market.

Developed by Dr. Tom Molnar at Rutgers University the deep pink flowers hold up well to summer heat and humidity, and can remain showy for up to eight weeks. The classic red hanging fruit follows the flowers and the fall foliage color is also shades of red.

‘Rutpink’ Scarlet Fire Cornus kousa prefers full sun to part shade and grows best in moist, well drained soil.
