Description
This is a small shrub with slender, crooked, often spreading branches. Fragrant white flowers are produced in April before the leaves emerge. In Fall, the leaves turn an attractive yellow-scarlet.
Prospers in acid peaty sandy loam. Flowers and fall color are best in full sun. Combines well with rhododendrons and azaleas.
