Description
Verweig 3 Minor Black has deep reddish maroon glossy leaves on a compact plant. The tubular rosy pink flowers appear in May and June — adored by hummingbirds. Weigelas can repeat flowering in late summer but if you are looking for a dense and good looking plant, prune it immediately after flowering.
Grow in average well-drained soil.
Highly effective in mass plantings. A lovely mixed border or container accent. Good specimen for large containers.
